Jo Martin, Director
Jackie worked with Pellows, a longstanding Cornish waste disposal company to secure and deliver £604,268 investment from Cornwall Council through the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Good Growth Programme to establish a state-of-the-art independent facility to treat and recycle sewage waste in the county.
The investment has enabled a £1.2 million project to develop a new liquid waste treatment plant at its base at Carnon Valley, near Truro.
The innovative facility will add vital capacity to Cornwall’s waste treatment infrastructure as well as creating environmental benefits by recycling sewage into an organic and cost-effective fertilizer (dry cake) which farmers can spread on their land.
Jackie’s approach, which recognises the need for commercial insight as well as strong narratives, which has led to hundreds of successful funding applications and resulted in over £24 million of investment secured.
Her meticulous attention to detail and strategic approach, ensure that each bid highlights the key opportunity, and is tailored to meet the specific requirements and preferences of funding bodies.
